1Number of sheets or pieces.
2Type of Material: Steel SAE 1010, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, bronze / brass, pre-galvanized, electro-zinc coating and other alloys.
3Dimensions of sheets: Length and Width in mm. Standard widths are: 1040 mm, 1250 mm, 1500 mm available in sheets or coils, being the Long Way of Diamond parallel to the width of the sheet.
4Pattern of mesh: Treadway and Grating.
5Dimensions of Mesh:
Long Way of Diamond: Length of mesh, measured across the sheet in the direction parallel to the largest dimension of the diamond (this identifies the mesh style).
Short Way of Diamond: Length of mesh, measured across the sheet in the direction parallel to the shortest dimension of the diamond.
Width of strand: specify in mm, inches or gauge, as per tables applicable for the different materials.
Thickness of strand: specify in mm.
Total thickness: of expanded sheet or material in mm
6Open area or pasante: Indicate in percentage.
4Weight: Indicate in Kg/m2..
9Finish: Standard coating. We can also fulfill the following customized orders: electrolitic or hot-dip galvanization, electrostatic painting, chemical polish and aluminum anodization.
NOTE: Please include a sketch if possible. Remember that for special orders you must indicate the direction of the long way of diamond (if parallel to width or parallel to length of sheet).
Features of heavy and extraheavy GRATING metals:
Structural carbon steel up to 39 Kg/m2, a total thickness of 20 mm. and hexagonal openings.
Designed to withstand great loads with minimum deflection, whether concentraded or uniform loads. This results in significant savings in the supporting structure, since it requires less reinforcing and saves material and labour. For special sanitary environments we fabricate this type of grating in stainless steel AISI 304 and AISI 316.
Benefits: Allows the flow of light, air and sound, prevents build-up of liquids and has selfcleaning and non-slip features.
Applications: This material is the first choice for architects and engineers because of its adaptable and economical features.
